A very lovely American Burl bowl. It is made of Atlantic White Cedar and most likely hails from North East Maine part of North America. It is typical of the Abenaki Tribe. Examples of such work can be identified thru “North American Burl Treen” by Steve Powers. This bowl is fabulous with its original patina. It is burnt and hewn. The bowl measures 11 3/4″ in diameter x 4 1/2″ high. This bowl has great patina and lots of beautiful eyes. This information was provided by an avid and knowledgeable collector whom I have had the privilege to talk with on several occasions. Price: $895.00
