Grain Painted, Primitive Domed Top small box

I can’t say enough about this lovely box/trunk. It has original grain painting on all sides except the bottom. Notice the beautiful border that goes around the perimeter of the top of the box. The box has a very slight dome to the top. Original handles with beautiful heart shaped back plates. The box is clean and can be used for storage. It measures 24 x 13 x 8 1/2 inches. Circa 1860’s.
