A grouping of early 19th. century coin silver spoons. There are 6 teaspoons and 8 serving spoons. The serving spoons are so large they could not be called tablespoons. They are all in very good condition. Some have monograms and some don’t. From what I can make out from the makers marks …(3) have touchmarks, (4) C.A. Burr, (1) James Mix Jr. and some I just can’t make out. The teaspoons measure 5 1/2 inches and are quite delicate and the serving spoons measure 8 3/4 inches long. They all could use a cleaning. Circa 1820-30 and are 9″ long. (Coin silver has 2.5% less silver and is actual coins melted because sterling silver was very hard to come by after the American Revolution when England wasn’t selling bar silver to America Price: $195.00 + shipping

I update my merchandise on a regular basis but my big updates are around the end of every month. At that time I send out a slideshow featuring all of my new items. If you would like to receive the slideshow, send me an email and I will add your email address to the release. People on my email release get first peek at all the new monthly items before my ad comes out in the Maine Antique Digest. Most of the inventory I carry is 19th., 18th., and some 17th. century country primitives in original surface. I am an artist and I feature some of my original works on the site as well. I will work with you in any way possible to make your visit and your purchases as pleasant and satisfying as possible.
