18th. c. Painted Apothecary Drawers

A fabulous painted case of drawers. Late 18th. century, Lancaster County origin, having the original green painted surface. The apothecary has six (6) drawers. three of the drawers are divided and three are open. The drawer dividers are mortised into the case. The apothecary has a simple applied molding around the case. the drawers are tee nail construction with a simple scratch bead around the front. Circa 1790-1820. This size would lend itself to sitting on a counter, table or actually used as a side table. The apothecary measures 24 1/2 x 17 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches. Price: $2650.00 + shipping
