This is truly an unusual piece. I have not come by one like this of this age in all my years. The piece is an 18th. century treen soap dish with the original brush. I can only believe that this may be a shaving bowl from the 18th. century. the wear on this piece is just outstanding, please notice that there is actually a small hole that has worn thru the bottom of the dish. American treen from the 18th. century. Just a fine excellent American antique. The treen dish measures 4 x 2 x 2 inches and the brush measures about 4 1/2 inches. Soap not included. Price: sold
