Quite the sugar mold. A fabulous early 19th. century double heart sugar mold. This mold was most likely given as a wedding gift or perhaps anniversary gift. Both sides of the frame are heavily carved with initials that look like they may be husband and wife ( having the same last initial ). The heart carvings are so sharp and well done. The sugar mold measures 14 1/4 x 5 x 2 5/8 inches. The condition is excellent and the so is the provenance. sold
