19th. century, Four (4) Light Candle Light

I love this floor light. The form is simple and that is part of its charm. The cross bar slides onto the shaft and settles down on the thicker part of the shaft and is stable. Very simple and sits very secure on the shaft. I believe the shaft is Chestnut and the slab base is quite heavy. I believe the crossbar is Pine with four candle cups. The floor light measures 37 inches, the cross bar measures 12 1/2 inches (each bar) and the slab base measures 9 x 15 x 4 inches. The condition is excellent. Circa mid to late 19th. century. Quite a nice piece of American lighting. Price: sold
