The history behind this type of candle stick is that////they were used and adjusted by the parents of a household who daughter was being visited by her beau. The candlestick could be adjusted for more burn time or less burn time depending on how long the family wanted the two to be together.This candle stick is very finely form and pined thru the bottom of a wooden base. The candle stick measures 8″ tall with a base diameter of 4″.
