The inspiration of this painting was a photograph of an elderly lady picking stones by the sea shore. I was so moved by the look of her legs,the stance of her body and dress.  To me it called “strength, beauty, age, endurance, a life lived, the never ending desire for the beautiful, the peaceful, the everlasting”. I could feel the years lived just from looking at the bottom half of her body. She has an eternal desire to see all he beauty in life that she can take in. I hope I have translated this to this canvas. The painting measures 21 x 17 inches. Price: $650.00 + shipping
