Blue Painted Bucket, 19th. century

This is a very sweet piece. A nice sized bucket with the best blue painted surface. The bucket has a hinged lid and has a hasp closure. The painted bucket is in very good condition. There is writing across the top and across the side of the bucket.I cannot read the first part of the stenciling but the last part say “Drops”. the bucket measures 10 inches tall and 8 3/4 inches in diameter across the top. Nice swing handle. Most likely originated from a mercantile or general store. Price: sold
