This is a beautiful 19th. century Linsey Woolsey. The colors are light gray or gray cream color, with olive green and a darker green fabrics used in borders. Two sides have dark green fabric, Two sides are the gray cream fabric.. There is some minor soiling on the sides where the sides are light. A few very small tears in different spots. I could call the pattern square in a square sawtooth diamond design. The quilting is 6-7 stitches/per inch. And the thread looks like a gray color quilting thread. The Quilter used pieces of fabric to fill in borders. There is a Minor fold line in front. The Center seam in red wool fabric backing. The binding is hand sewn and the Linsey measures 65 x 76 inches. People on my email release get first peek at all the new monthly items before my ad comes out in the Maine Antique Digest. Most of the inventory I carry is 19th., 18th., and some 17th. century country primitives in original surface. I am an artist and I feature some of my original works on the site as well.
