This is one of the nicest 18th c. scoops I have found. It is unusual to find one this early in such great condition as they usually have cracks, big chips, or splits. It has a wonderful original or early very dry salmon paint. The scoop was hand carved out of one piece of pine. The scoop is 16 1/2” long x 5 1/2” wide x 3” deep. The only minor issue is a small chip on side of handle that may have been done in the making. 18th century. Price: sold
