This is a fabulous 18th. century wall box with drawer. The wall box has the largest and the best lollipop back I have seen. It is fabulous. This box is constructed with Heartland Pine with the best possible patina from years of use. This may be a Southern wall box and is circa1760-1820. The construction on the wall box shows all the early forms of dovetail construction and square nailing. The spice drawer had dividers at one time and are now missing. I believe the knob to be original. This box came from the Miller collection in Northern Ky. The box is New England origin, square nailed and wonderful natural surface. The wall box measures 23 x 14 1/2 x 9 inches deep. The box is quite heavy. Price: sold
