A wonderful 19th. century country, painted, Tin hanging four arm chandelier. This sweet chandelier is in its original Red painted surface. The chandelier has flat sweeping arms, attached candle drip cups and rolled candle holders all in original surface. The chandelier is American, probably Connecticut in origin and is circa 1810-1830. Great country form to this piece having a tall tapering cone style shaft with a flat bottom and the original attached hanging hook on the top. Four fixed and simple sweeping arms ending in round, delicate drip trays with seamed and rolled candle cups. The surface is excellent and completely original. Please note there are a couple of old bend marks on on of the arms, see photo. The chandelier measures 9 1/2 inches tall and about 18 inches across. Price: sold
