American, 19th. century Wooden Floor Light

An excellent floor light. This is a very nice New England, wooden floor light. I think this light has two height settings. The cross bar sits at the top of the light and is secured there by a heavy leather ring, (see photo). If you remove the cross bar and take out the leather ring the cross bar goes down to a lower height. The overall size of the light is 49 inches. At the highest point the cross bar the light sits at about 44 inches. When you lower the cross bar the light sits at abut 17 inches. The crossbar itself measures 7 x 1 1/2 inches. The light is in excellent condition. The light has a great slab base that has been hollowed out on the underside. Price: $1850.00 + shipping
