This is truly an awesome piece of treen. I call it a chopping bow but may also be used for kneeding dough. The bowl is American and most likely mid 19th. century. The bowl is very heavy, great square shape measuring 12 x 12 1/2 x5 inches. There is surface cracking at various spots on the bowl but not of them cause any stress to the construction and stability of the piece. American treenware at its best. Price: $675.00 + shipping
