Love this basket, not too large and not too small, measuring 10 x 6 1/2 inches and the handle adds another 5 1/4 inches to the overall height. The paint is just wonderful, white and so worn with age so as to make the patina perfect. The basket does show wear but no major damage. Definitely an American basket from the later part of the 19th. century. Beautiful thin cut handle, just feel good in your hand. Price: sold
