A fabulous Red painted, American pipe box. This pipe box has the best original surface, still retaining the original Red paint. The construction of the pipe box is dovetail and square nailed. The pipe box has a lovely lollipop atop a narrow steeple shaped back board and the bottom of the box is beautifully crested. A lovely, detailed form. The proportions are just wonderful, the pipe box measures 21 inches long by 3 3/4 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches deep. The surface is original. This pipe box came from a longtime Michigan collection. The pipe box was purchased at auction back in 1997. Price: sold
