Love the size of this box, it is square and chunky. the box measures 10 1/4 x 9 x 7 1/4 inches. Hand cut dovetails, original brown paint and a divided interior. The box was most likely used as a spice box having the four sections inside. The paint is the best dry brown. A great primitive box with such country charm. Circa early 19th. century.
