I really can’t say enough about this wall box. It is American, New England/Massachusetts, steeple back wall box with the best possible original paint. The way the paint is worn is just amazing. It is dry with great patina and surface. The paint is a red/brown, more to the red, and is just perfect on this wall box. Lovely steeple box with canted well. The overall condition is excellent and in line with a wall box of this period. The wall box measures 19 1/4 inches tall, 12 3/4 wide and 4 3/4 deep. This wall box is constructed with early square nails. The box may be late 18th. century to early 19th. century. Price: $2200.00 + shipping
