If you are looking for a statement piece, here it is. This round Brides Box is wonderful in so many respects. First the size, it measures 17 inches in diameter. Most likely given as a Bridal Gift the box features the best Pa. Dutch/Pa. German design. having a beautifully executed maiden standing under a tree surrounded with floral decoration. The circumference of the box is profusely decorated with flowers, scrolls, dots etc. These boxes were given as gifts and size of this one suggests that it was used for storage of clothing or something of that nature. It is clean and usable. Most likely from Pennsylvania. The condition of the box is excellent except for a few loose nails and some slight bottom rim damage as shown in the photos.
