Fabulous, Blue Painted Round Pantry Box

Just a wonderful example of an American pantry box. Pantry boxes were used to store such a variety of items form dry goods to trinkets. The primary use was for dry goods, spices, flour, sugar, tea, coffee etc. Often times they were painted just to brighten up the surroundings. Few were labeled and this type is not as often seen. This particular pantry box has a fabulous Blue Paint with the word “coffee” hand painted across the lid. The pantry box measures 6 3/4 x 3 inches. There is a bit of glue present on the bottom where the side meets the bottom. Price: sold
