This is an outstanding wall box. Circa early 19th. century and truly American, New England in origin fabulous wall box. The paint is original to the period, the construction is with early square nails. The box is so nice, measures 12 x 6 1/2 x 11 1/4 inches. This wall box has a great lollipop hanger and a very unusual feature of small shelf that runs across the back of the box. This is an impeccable wall box and comes with the best possible provenance.
