Fabulous Early 19th. century Shaved Broom

Most unusual and wonderful, short shave broom. The cut of the handle and the iron wrap around the broom make this little gem stand out from the rest. The broom is circa 1850 or so. The handle is stylized as wider at the and going slender as you go down the shaft. The overall size of the broom measures 19 1/4 inches and the head measures about 8″ of that length. I have never seen a wrap like this before, it is iron and is fastened to hold the shaved bristles in place. A great example for any collector. Price: sold
