New York, American School House Book Cupboard

American Schoolhouse Book Cupboard having old, if not original Blue/Grey painted surface decorated with a floral design down the front panel.  The cupboard has a warm Folksy/Country appeal.  The cupboard is mortised and has square nailed construction, iron hinges. Circa 1820-1840. The cupboard measures 23 x 16 x 6 1/2 inches deep. There are two shelves inside. The original hanging holes are worn thru and there is a wire for hanging. The interior of the cupboard has yellow paint. Looks like someone slapped some paint on the inside for some reason, it makes no sense. The lock is missing. Other than expected wear and the paint splotches it is in excellent condition. Price: $995.00 + shipping
