Outstanding, 19th. century Painted Covered Jar

Quite simply a beautiful piece both in surface and form. A treen covered jar, sugar bowl with the best old, if not original blue painted surface. The best look ever. The bowl is ever so slightly out or round as the lid sits best only one way. It is very, very slight. The paint is dry and a wonderful blue. The knob on the lid is carved and one with the lid. The jar measures 6 3/4 inches tall, diameter at the top is 5 inches and at the bottom 4 3/4 inches. A beautiful 19th. century piece of treenware. No cracks or damage. Price: sold
