Pair of Forged Iron, Penny Foot Candlesticks
A most unusual and wonderful pair of penny feet candlesticks. So unusual to find a pair. This pair has some excellent features. Forged iron candle stick, pair–Early 19th. Century and quite possibly late 18th. century. Each light has three penny feet, topped with a nice drip tray to which a forged iron twisted shaft is topped off by a lovely candle cup. Each candlestick still retains some of the original black finish. Each candle cup is wrapped and has a small hole for popping out the candle nub when necessary. There is some minor rust that is evidenced on the drip trays. These lights have a country charm that would grace the center of your beautiful country table. Each light measures 12 1/4 inches tall. A 6 inch diameter drip tray and three good sized penny feet. Price: sold
