I love this lantern. I love the form as I have never seen another like it. Three sides of the lantern are full glass. One side is 2/3rd. glass and 1/3rd. door. The little door is used to access the candle light. Such a sweet design. I believe the lantern is made of Heartland Pine which may make this lantern of Southern origin. The doors hinges are made with bent nails and so expertly done. The lantern has a tin smoke/heat shield and wire hanger. The lantern sits up on four small feet. There is some loss to some of the feet but no harm. The candle cup is tin. The 1/2 glass has been replaced. I still have the original cracked piece and it can come with the light. The lantern measures 11 1/2 x 5 x 5 1/2 inches. This lantern is such an outstanding example of American design and ingenuity. Price: sold
