This is an outstanding example of an American lighting shelf. Everything about this shelf cries Country Primitive. The best look and surface. The surface is a grungy sort of Pewter/Grey. This shelf certainly could be used to display multiple treasures. I have displayed books, a light and small water magnifier. The size is such that it holds quite a bit, it measures 19 1/2 x 16 x 6 1/2 inches. American lighting shelf, American wall shelf. It is so versatile it could even just sit on a table or counter. The back and part of the bottom boards are a different color. Can’t say for sure why, but I believe someone started to strip this piece and realized they were removing the best part of the paint. Fortunately they stopped and there is no damage to the front of this shelf at all. Quite a striking piece of American shelving. Price: sold
