A great example of an American, painted Piggin. The form is lovely, the Red painted surface is excellent, the Piggin is in excellent condition. Unusual to have a hinged lid, unusual but practical when you think about it. The piggin is staved construction and has wrapped and tucked bands. Great form. It measures 9 1/2 x 12 and the handle adds another 4 1/2 inches. American treenware at its best. The condition is excellent. Price: sold
