This is an absolutely gorgeous chandelier. Circe mid 19th. century or perhaps earlier. It is completely constructed of wood. Maple wood that has aged to a beautiful mellow patina from years of exposure and age. Even the candle cup and drip trays are Maple wood. The chandelier measures 12 3/4 inches tall and measures about 14 inches from candle cup to candle cup (diameter). There are six candle cups each attached to the center Maple column with decorative metal arms. The center post is beautifully cut and detailed. The condition is outstanding but please do note that some of the candle cups and drip pans are scorched from use. There is also a nail that is in the base of the column. I can’t figure out why that would be there but perhaps someone hung something from it thru the years. I have seen some hanging lights that have cups, that held matches, hanging from the base. It is not a deterrent, I mention it for clarity. American country chandelier. Price: sold
