What comes around goes around. Here is another example of a wonderful little box that I had years ago. It came around again and I had the opportunity to purchase it and I did. Love it just as much as the first time around and even a bit more because they are getting harder to come by. This sweet little lift lid box measures 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 3 2/4 inches. It has the best painted surface with a light tan/brown background with black dots. Tiny leather hinges that appear to be original. American miniature box with great provenance. Circa mid 19th. century. American painted table box. Price: sold
