Wonderful early 19th. century Double Candle Floor Light

Love this light, the form is early and funky. A true country primitive light. Sort of short and squatty in form and the length of the cross bar is perfect proportion to the shaft and base. The surface is original Spanish Brown painted surface. I love that the round base sits up on four short legs that are mortised up into the base. The shaft is mortised into the base. The cross bar is nicely shaped and is tapered at both ends. The floor light measures 28 inches tall, the base measures 14 x 11 and the light bar measures 18 inches. American country lighting, circa early 19th. century. American primitive lighting. Price: $$2475.00 + shipping
