An unusual and delightful Make Do candlestick. The candlestick is made of two old pieces. The base is part a wooden candle stick and the top is part of an old hogscraper candlestick. The tube of the hogscraper fits over the wooden base to complete a delightful Make Do. The candle stick measures 10 inches tall and the diameter of the base is 4 inches. Just ingenious use of two broken pieces. Most likely mid 19th. century. Excellent condition and excellent provenance. Price: sold
